INTRODUCTION

Origenes - Argentine Cultural Event - is an international and interdisciplinary event programmed for the end 2011 in Holland. This event is working under the lnominal and logistic support of fundación Dance-Theatre Development, the production house Kosmopolis and the auspices of the Argentine Embassy in Den Haag.

Breve description:
Origenes is an interdisciplinary program with a main panels of theatre, dance and music and a second panel of expositions, conferencies and workshops. The ideologic trend of 'Orígenes' is based in presenting, enhancing and promoting contemporary developments of the argentinian culture which are out of the usual artistic market circuits. The event pretends an actual, renewend, critical and interdisciplinary perspective. That aims to bring reflexion about the ethics of cultural representation. The politic of this event wants to invite Argentinian artists who are resident in Holland and abroad, Dutch artists and Europeans who feel affinity and identification to participate in the project.

The Building

The museum is situated in the City of Cahen at the historical center of the lively city of Amersfoort. Architect Cahen designed the building during the 1970s. The building was finally constructed in 1976 and was used until May 2009 as a governmental institute of cultural heritage.

The building holds 6 different towers that are home to several foundations with social and cultural functions, these towers all converge in a social meeting point where the auditorium and exhibition room is situated.

The controversial design of Cahen with many lines and squares make the city of Cahen look and feel like a real city and now with the LAKMA museum, it has become the living, breathing cultural exchange platform it’s destined to be.

The collection of Salvador Dali will play a vital role in the artistic life of Amersfoort, offering an environment that inspires active, life-long connection to the arts.

Management

The Gausachs Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to promotion of culture and the arts. It contributes to the pleasure of the museum-visiting public by creating and circulating exhibitions and collections of exceptional quality. The permanent exhibition of Salvador Dali will ensure a steady stream of visitors making the break-even point feasible and thus ensuring sustainability for the LAKMA museum.

CONVOCATORIA

Exposición colectiva de artistas Argentinos.
El proyecto "Orígenes- Argentinian Cultural Event-" auspiciado por organizaciones argentinas y holandesas. Kosmopolis Utrecht es la casa de producción de "Orígenes".
Este evento interdisciplinario de alta calidad profesional se ha programado para el 5-6 de noviembre próximo en distintas localidades en Utrecht y en Amersfoort, en Holanda.
"Orígenes- Argentinian Cultural Event-" tiene un carácter internacional y de participación de diferentes comunidades Argentino-Holandesas y Europeas.

• Fecha exposicion: desde el 5 hasta el 30 de Noviembre 2011

• Lugar: Museo LAKMA
• Tema: Mixto – distintas disciplinas.
• Participación: Mínimo dos obras representativas del artista
• Tamaño: Máximo 1.5 x 1.5 (Instalaciones, videos y otras dimensiones podrían contemplarse)
• Condiciones: Artistas de origen Argentino – pueden participar artistas de otras nacionalidades cuyo trabajo tengan algún vinculo importante con Argentina.

INSCRIPCION
Se solicita a todos los artistas Argentinos interesados en participar que nos muestren su trabajo enviando el link de su website, imágenes de sus obras, materiales, técnicas utilizadas y dimensiones, nombre del artista, e-mail y teléfono.

• Cantidad de obras a exponer y la temática.
• Los costos de para la presentación en el evento.
• Fotografías de las obras a presentar.

PLANIFICACION:
