We seek to capture the ever lasting beauty of our Mrs. Globe Finalist on your canvas. The paintings will be part of the collection of the LAKMA museum project for everyone to see and admire till the end of time.

The LAKMA has partnered with the Mrs. Globe Netherlands organization to provide artists with a day of paint, brushes, canvas and paper in a room with the right lighting, glamorous dresses and nearby outside green field full of amazing green parks with a river, a lake and beautiful glamorous dresses for you to find your inspiration.

We seek to capture the elegance of the Dutch woman of today in the same manner Jose Gausachs capture the grace of the Caribbean Woman of the 1940s

The winner will have the honor of painting the exclusive portrait of the winner of the Mrs. Globe 2010

GLOBAL BEAUTY PORTRAIT PROJECT

We are honored and proud of presenting:
 
Mrs. Dejamila (Int. Model Mrs. Globe finalist)
Mr. Gorki Bollar (Artist - Painter) and
Mr. Luis Acosta (Textile & paper Artist).

These three talents will merge in to one portrait that will remain in the permanent collection of the LAKMA project of the Gausachs Foundation. Mrs. Dejamila will pose for the Uruguayan painter Mr. Gorki Bollar wearing the hand crafted jewelry art works created by the Argentinean artist Luis Acosta.

The global beauty portrait project is another innovative concept of the Gausachs foundation were 40 beautiful models will pose for some of the most talented artist. This is our opportunity to combine, beauty, talent and experience to capture the essence of these beautiful woman on canvas, whom claim they are not only beautiful in the outside but also in the inside. These are not only some of the most beautiful woman of the Netherlands, they are also a representation of different cultural backgrounds; therefore, will serve as a mean to showcase the cultural diversity of our society for future generations to appreciate.

The project will culminate with 80 portraits 2 of each model, created by different artists; there will be a glamorous exhibition, were all these works will be displayed then half of them (40 paintings) will be auctioned as a fund raiser for the WIN (woman in need foundation) and the LAKMA museum project with a press release to gain extensive exposure for all artists. The remaining 40 will form part of the Museum project permanent collection.

GLOBAL BEAUTY SELECTION PROCESS.

Saturday 5th of June 2010 was the second selection day for the Mrs. Globe Finalists, artists came to meet and select their favorite models and are working on submitting their projects for the LAKMA and the Gausachs foundation. MORE ->

Mr. Miguel Doura painter from Argentina has already started his project. With 7 models he will create a large portrait. MORE ->

 

Argentinean Artist Miguel Doura is now in Amersfoort as part of the global beauty portrait project; this project and innovating idea will generate an interesting collection for the LAKMA. MORE
